First Groom Policy

For dogs who have never been groomed, they are required to start with a mini groom—which includes a bath, blow-dry, nail trim, ear cleaning, and light trimming of the paws, face, and sanitary areas—before scheduling a full groom, as this helps your new puppy safely adjust to the grooming environment, reduces the risk of fear or overwhelm, and prevents potential danger to both the puppy and the grooming tools during their first grooming experience.

Safety Policy

Moving forward, proof of a current rabies vaccination will be required for all dogs receiving grooming services. This policy is in place to help maintain a safe, healthy, and stress-free environment for every pet in my care.

I truly appreciate your understanding and cooperation as I continue to prioritize the well-being of all pups I work with.

Matting occurs when a dog’s fur becomes tightly tangled and knotted, often forming dense clumps close to the skin. This can be uncomfortable, and in more severe cases, painful for your pet - as mats can pull on the skin, restrict airflow, and trap moisture or debris.

For the safety and well-being of your dog, if they arrive with severe matting, a shave-down will be required, as the mats are often too tight to the skin to be safely brushed out without causing discomfort or injury. In cases where the matting is mild to moderate and can be safely brushed through, a de-matting fee of $15–$20 will be applied, depending on your dog’s size and the time required. However, if the mats cannot be gently and safely removed through brushing, I will proceed with shaving them down to ensure your dog’s comfort and prevent unnecessary stress or harm.

Shave-Down / Matted Dog Policy

For the safety, comfort, and scheduling efficiency of all pets in my care, I kindly ask that clients adhere to my pick-up and drop-off policies.

A 15-minute grace period is provided for all scheduled drop-off times; however, if you arrive later than this window, the appointment will need to be canceled and rescheduled to avoid disruptions to the day’s schedule. Some instances may be accommodated upon coordination.

For pick-ups, I offer a 30-minute grace period once your pup is ready. After this time, a late pick-up fee may be applied. As a one-on-one groomer, I carefully schedule each appointment to give every dog individualized attention while maintaining a calm, low-stress environment. Timely pick-up and drop-off helps ensure that each pup receives the dedicated care they deserve while allowing me to stay on track for all clients.

Pick-Up / Drop-Off Policy

For the safety of both your pet and myself, I reserve the right to use a muzzle if a dog displays aggressive behavior during the grooming process. Muzzling is a safe and humane tool that can often help calm a pet by reducing overstimulation, while also preventing potential injury. If at any point a dog becomes excessively aggressive to the extent that it is putting itself or me at risk of harm, I will discontinue the groom. In such cases, the service will not be completed, and you will not be charged for the full groom. My top priority is to ensure a safe, low-stress environment for every dog while maintaining the highest level of care and professionalism.
